WEEKEND SALUTE
This week flew by! Maybe because I officially re-start classes next week. Or maybe as autumn comes creeping upon us and the days begin to shorten, everything just seems that much more compact. Either way, it's really starting to feel like fall around here with cool evening temperatures, the general dark-by-8pm rule, and the hustle and bustle of September (even in Toronto you can find some point of calm and relaxation in the summer). But before I call it a week and jump into my weekend of lunch dates, hiking, yoga, and film festival fun, here's a brief re-cap of what went on in the past few days at Tomfoolery & Bright:
the official launch of Canada's first J.Crew store (unfortunately for the gentlemen, this one's only for ladies)
a prospective new ride? I consider the Fiat 500
an adapted recipe for chicken stock and chicken noodle soup
'window' shopping at Antiquaria
and of course, the Toronto International Film Festival, which began yesterday--in the area? catch a flick!
